Our Mission

At Your Bright Side we focus on the positive side of intervention. Our goal for each client who seeks help for themselves or their child is to leave feeling empowered to be back in charge of their own mental health and relationships. Collaboration with family, school, and other intervening professionals is how consistent progress is made; all systems working together for a positive change. Clients can begin the process feeling accepted for where they are currently and leave feeling confident and excited to move forward.

What People Are Saying…

“I would highly recommend Jen Jones as a resource for working with children. My daughter has sensory integration disorder and had various issues we needed help with. Jen was wonderful in helping us address behavioral issues, as well as other areas such as sensory diet, to practical things we can implement to help her be more regulated and self-controlled with her body. My daughter absolutely loves to go see her, and even though we are “working” on the issues, it doesn’t seem like it to her as Jen has a way of working with kids. Like I said in the beginning, I would recommend her to anyone needing support in working with children that have special needs. ”

“Heather is a truly compassionate and trustworthy therapist.  When my daughter started her care with Heather, I thought it was grief counseling for a 15 year old girl that just lost her dad. At that time, I didn’t even truly understand and wasn’t even sure I believed in depression. She was very patient with me and educated and assured me.  It was a long road but as my daughter gained her trust and started opening up to her, she was able to give her tools to improve herself and live a healthy life.  Some things identified during the process were difficult for us as a mother and daughter, but Heather continued to hear both our sides and bring us together by sharing our views to each other.  Today, my daughter is doing very well on her own at college and our relationship continues to strengthen.  I do appreciate the role Heather played in the positive outcome, and would recommend you to trust your child and relationship with her.  Some things are hard for us as parents to hear and accept, but Heather will do what she truly believes is best for her client and family.”
